No KL Car Free Morning This Sunday Due To ASEAN summit

The Kuala Lumpur Car Free Morning (KLCFM) scheduled for this Sunday, May 25, has been canceled due to extensive road closures in Kuala Lumpur for the upcoming ASEAN Summit, the KLCFM committee announced.
To facilitate the 46th ASEAN Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on May 26th and 27th, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will implement road closures and detours in Kuala Lumpur from May 23rd to 28th.

These traffic changes will affect six highways and 25 major roads.
Additionally, PLUS will have closures on specific sections of the NKVE, North-South Expressway, and ELITE Highway, primarily between May 23rd and 26th and again on May 28th, with varying closure times.

For smoother journeys and to avoid traffic congestion, road users are encouraged to stay informed of real-time traffic conditions via JSPT/PDRM social media, the PLUS app, X (@PLUSTrafik), highway electronic message boards (VMS), and navigation applications such as Google Maps and Waze for better route planning.
