New Nilai Interchange To Be Built To Ease Senawang-KL Congestion

A new interchange in Nilai is set to begin construction next year, aiming to ease heavy traffic from Senawang to Kuala Lumpur.

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the project, connecting the PLUS Highway to the Nilai-Labu-Enstek (NLE) route, was approved under the Malaysia Vision Valley plan and will be fully funded by the Federal Government.

“We’ve been informed that a new road and PLUS toll plaza will begin construction next year

"The project will be funded by the Federal Government, and detailed planning is still being finalised,” he said in a Kosmo report.

The 18KM NLE, now under construction, is expected to be completed by July 2026. Once ready, it will serve as an alternative route for motorists heading north or into Kuala Lumpur, helping to ease congestion along the North-South Expressway.

Aminuddin, who is also Port Dickson MP, said the project will not only smoothen daily commutes but also spur growth in nearby areas like Labu and Enstek.
