Denza Keeps 2025 D9 Prices Steady with Added Ownership Incentives

Denza Malaysia is marking its first anniversary in the local market this Feb by confirming that prices for its flagship Denza D9 electric luxury MPV will remain unchanged for the 2025 model year, likely supported by inventory secured ahead of the Dec 28 incentive deadline.
The move could also result in faster deliveries with shorter waiting times, although there is no confirmation on pricing for 2026 models. From Jan 2026, fully imported (CBU) electric vehicles will generally face a combined 30% import duty, 10% excise duty and 10% sales tax.

For EVs such as Denza imported under the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) and ASEAN–China Free Trade Area (ACFTA), duties will be lower at 5% import duty, alongside 10% excise duty and 10% sales tax. Even so, prices are expected to rise by around 25% to 30% once current exemptions end.
Against this backdrop, Denza has committed to maintaining 2025 pricing for the D9 at RM259,000 for the FWD variant and RM309,000 for the AWD version.

Since entering the Malaysian market in Feb 2025, the brand has delivered more than 1,200 units in under a year. The Denza D9 currently leads Malaysia’s luxury electric MPV segment, based on 2025 new electric MPV registrations at authorised dealerships.
To mark the anniversary, Denza Malaysia is also offering enhanced ownership benefits for a limited time.

These include privileges worth up to RM10,000 for the FWD variant and RM15,000 for the AWD variant, covering a complimentary 22kW wallbox charger with installation, a six-year or 120,000km free service package and a six-year vehicle warranty, subject to terms and conditions.
Beyond the ownership incentives, Denza owners will gain access to curated lifestyle experiences, including invitation-only events, premium dining and exclusive travel privileges to be introduced progressively.
Denza Malaysia managing director Eagle Zhao said the brand’s first year focused on building trust in a competitive and fast-evolving EV market, adding that the next phase will centre on protecting customer value while enhancing the ownership experience.
