Toyota Showcases Interior of a New Three-Row SUV, Debuts on Feb 10

Toyota is poised to launch a new three-row SUV this month, with its interior recently teased via social media.
Remember the mysterious SUV model teased by Toyota earlier this year? It turns out this model will make its debut very soon, and it will be the brand’s new three-row SUV, as indicated by this new teaser image showcasing its interior for the first time.
Published via Toyota USA’s social media page, the single interior teaser image shows that this SUV rocks a three-row seating configuration. Although we can’t exactly confirm whether it is a six- or a seven-seater, we can clearly see that it features two captain-style seats for the second row, thus hinting at something more premium from the Japanese automaker.

Also visible in the teaser image is the dual-screen setup on the front dash, featuring a fairly large central infotainment screen and a smaller digital metre cluster that hides behind a three-spoke steering wheel with the same design seen on the Land Cruiser 250.
Other little bits that can be seen here include the expansive panoramic glass roof, cup holders at the central console of the second-row seats, a digital A/C panel for the rear seats, USB-C ports on the C-pillars for the third-row passengers, and more.

The front window design matches the patent images of the bZ Large SUV concept, which was previously touted as the base model for this new SUV. The previous teaser image showcasing the rear part of this SUV also matches with the aforementioned concept, but that is as far as we can derive for now.

Toyota bZ Large SUV Concept
What remains a mystery are both the actual name and the powertrain nature of this mysterious three-row SUV, with CarScoops saying that it could potentially wear the iconic Highlander name. Numerous reports also pointed out that given the similarities of this SUV with the bZ Large SUV concept, it might feature an all-electric powertrain setup underpinning Toyota’s own e-TNGA platform, just like any other bZ model.
Should this be true, this mysterious model could be Toyota’s new flagship EV SUV, and it is set to debut later on Feb 10 this year. Given that all of the teasers were published via Toyota USA’s social media page, it remains to be seen whether this mysterious three-row SUV could reach other markets beyond the American shorelines.
