BMW iX3

The new iX3 is offered in two variant options - Inspiring and Impressive. The former is priced at RM 317,360, while the latter retails for RM 336,360, on-the-road without insurance. Included in the price is a two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty which can be upgraded to a five-year warranty and service package for a few extra bucks, thus making the total to RM 330,800 and RM 349,800, respectively.

The BMW iX3 is offered in six exterior hues, namely, M Carbon Black metallic, Cashmere Silver metallic, Sophisto Grey Brilliant effect metallic, Mineral White metallic, Phytonic Blue, and Piemont Red.

The hovering dashboard looks elegant and has a classy layout especially with its black leather- wrapped. 

The all-electric SUV comes with BMW Live Cockpit Professional unit that combines a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster with 12.3-inch touch-capable Control Display. The BMW Ix3 accents all around the cockpit emphasise the car's emission-free drive system.

Offered as standard fitment are super comfortable sport seats in perforated fine-grain Sensatec.

Below the AC vents, there is a section where we can put our phones or small items located in the centre console. A storage compartment in the centre console with retractable cover.

It also gets a 3-spoke M leather steering wheel with multifunction and M emblem. Further enhancing the car's sporty accent is its Aluminium Rhombicle Dark trim strips.

There are two cup holders located at the front and rear foldable armrest. Totals are four cup holders. Also, there are compartments for bottle holders located each at the door panels.

The car has a solid and durable build which gives practicality to the usage.

It has 510 litres boot space and using Powered Boot with Contactless Operation. 

Body dimensions for Length, Width, Height in (mm) are 4734 x 1891 x 1668. The wheelbase is 2864 mm and weighs 2255kg. 

The BMW iX3 showcases a sportier design language and impresses all with its dynamic yet elegant contours. All thanks to its standard-feature M Sport package. Its blue accents and aerodynamic elements bring the car's electric nature into full effect

At the front, the BMW i kidney grille forms the central element which together with the L-shaped air inlets in BMW i Blue underlines the vehicles all-electric nature. Giving the car a more focused look are its sleek adaptive LED headlights.

The side profile gets generously proportioned contours around the wheel arches housing 20-inch M Aerodynamic 890 M style wheels in Jet Black with aluminium accents. Behind the front wheel are also present Air Breathers in BMW M design.

The rear profile is equally impressive and showcases elements like - vertical Air Breather, LED rear lights with 3D cover glass, pincer graphics and horizontal indications. The Blue diffusers above the road and Frozen Grey trim complete the rear look.

BMW iX3's Driving Assistant Professional offers supreme comfort and safety during monotonous or critical traffic situations. In addition to Driving Assistant, it also includes Emergency Stop Assistant and Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection, and Steering and Lane Control Assistant with extended functions.

Both the iX3 variants are powered by a rear-mounted e-motor delivering a maximum power of 286 PS and a peak torque of 400 Nm. With the given setup, the electric SUV can complete the century in just 6.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 180 kmph.

The EV is fitted with a 73.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of between 453-461 km. It takes around seven and a half hours to charge the iX3 via maximum AC charging power of 11 kW. Also, available is a DC fast charger at up to 150 kW (80% in just 32 minutes).

Combined Charging Unit (CCU) with built-in 4 kW voltage transformer for supplying power to the 12 V electrical system 

Automatic transmission, single speed with fixed ratio 

Powered by a rear-mounted electric motor delivering 210 kW (286 PS) and 400 Nm of torque. So equipped, the iX3 will get from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h. 

The car is also fitted with a 73.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a range of between 453 and 461 km on the WLTP cycle. Charging the iX3 takes around seven and a half hours using the maximum AC charging power of 11 kW; alternatively, you can juice the battery through a DC fast charger at up to 150 kW, filling it up to 80% in just 32 minutes.
