Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), importers of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, has opened the doors to its newest flagship 3S centre in Ara Damansara. It’s the 3rd state-of-the-art dealership designed and built from scratch in SDAP’s 10-year tenure in Malaysia.

With over RM15 million invested, the new Porsche Centre Ara Damansara occupies a 12,102 sq meter (or 130,264 sq ft) built-up area, making this 3S Porsche centre the largest in a single facility in the Asia Pacific region.

The facility includes 8,000 square meters (or 86,111 sq ft) of working space across five levels, with two showroom floors, two service and workshop levels, and the importer office.

You’d also be able to get up close and personal with the specific Porsche model of your liking, as the showroom is capable of displaying up to 26 cars. It’s not all show and no go as well; in the 2nd and 3rd service floors, the facility can house up to 21 cars at once. The highlight of the workshop is the frameless telescopic hydraulic lifts unique to the Ara Damansara centre.

The new Porsche Centre Ara Damansara also features a dedicated Motorsports Zone. Not only is it the first of its kind in Malaysia but on a global scale, showcasing both classic and modern Porsche race cars.

Porsche Centre Ara Damansara will also have racing simulators to professionalise the virtual motor racing scene and to further develop it into an exciting spectator sport. Customers and guests can take a virtual spin on a variety of circuits. That’s not all; trained instructors can also be at hand to provide customers with a digitally  authentic driving experience at the Racing Experience Centre.

In line with the launch of the all-electric Taycan, high performance Direct Current (DC) chargers are now available for customers not just at the Ara Damansara centre but at all Porsche centres in Malaysia.

These DC chargers are offered for the first time in Malaysia, delivering up to a maximum of 175 kW in total via a modular set-up. This system is also the fastest in the country and can fully charge the Taycan within 36 minutes under optimal conditions.

The Porsche Centre Ara Damansara is located at Sime Darby Motors City, with the address of 6, Jalan PJU 1A/7, Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
