- Porsche Macan EV Gains New Driver-Focused GTS Guise
Think the second-gen Porsche Macan electric (Macan EV) lacked the driver’s touch? Well, that shouldn’t be the case anymore with the newly revealed GTS variant pictured. Announced earlier today, this is the fifth addition to the Macan EV model’s line-up.
Those familiar with Porsche’s variant designation will know by now that the ‘GTS’ badge is reserved for ‘driver-focused’ variants. In short, this promises to be the sportiest and most engaging version of the Macan EV to drive.
Porsche have unveiled a fifth new addition for its Macan Electric (Macan EV) line-up, and it comes in driver-focused GTS guise.

Slotting just below the Turbo flagship but just above the 4S, this new GTS-flavoured Macan EV sees its dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup offer up to 380 kW (516 PS) as a start, and this can be boosted up to 420 kW (571) PS when ‘overboosted’ in Launch Control.
Peak torque also reads at 955 Nm, claims Porsche. Altogether, this marks a massive increase of roughly 130 PS and 405 Nm over the most powerful petrol-powered Macan model currently marketed alongside.
With up to 571 PS and 955 Nm available, the Macan EV GTS does 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 secs whilst enroute towards its 250 km/h capped V-max.

In turn, this enables this variant of the Macan EV to despatch 0-100 km/h sprints in just 3.8 secs and 0-200 km/h dashes in just 13.3 secs, whereas V-Max remains electronically capped at 250 km/h.
The bulk of this speed stems from the GTS model’s rear e-motor, which is shared with the Turbo range-topper. In turn, this also sees the GTS offer a stronger rear-drive bias to deliver that engaging drive dynamics promised by said three-lettered badge.
Other driver-focused enhancements include special air suspension setup, 10 MM lower ride height, added electronic rear diff, 48:52 front-rear weight distribution, optional RWS, and more.

Enhanced drive dynamics is also borne from an added electronic rear diff, the 48:52 front-rear weight distribution, special setup dialled into the sports air suspension dampers and anti-roll bar, not forgetting the bespoke traction control and torque vectoring systems brimmed.
Other notably key traits include the 10 MM lower ride height versus the standard Macan EV, a bespoke artificial engine sound that you can hear in the featured video up top, and the option to specify rear-axle steering (RWS).
Visually, note the GTS-specific black exterior accents, wider side skirts, variant-specific front and rear aprons, as well as both 21-inch and 22-inch (optional) wheels.

Shared with the 4S and Turbo variants too is the 100 kWh battery pack offering a claimed maximum range of 584 KM. Thanks to its 800-volt platform, the Macan EV GTS also can draw in up to 270 kW of DC fast-charging speeds to see 10-80% re-charges in just 21 minutes.
Visually, the Macan EV GTS is easily set apart by its black exterior detailing and accents, unmistakably wider side skirts, variant-specific and distinct front and rear aprons, as well as its standard 21-inch rolling stock that can be optionally upsized to 22-inch.

On board, the GTS treatment sees a mix of Race-Tex and black leather upholstery. Everything else largely mirrors what's seen in the other four Macan EV variants.

Moving into the cabin, the GTS-specific treatment sees this Macan EV rock a mix of Porsche’s signature ‘Race-Tex’ and black leather upholstery. Otherwise, much of this sport EV SUV’s innards mirror what’s seen in its four other siblings.
No prices were indicated yet, but the new Porsche Macan EV GTS detailed is expected to see its price start in between the 4S and Turbo variants too. For reference, the Macan 4S currently starts from RM525,000 whilst the Turbo range-topper starts from RM635,000.
