Hyundai Motor Company introduces the all-new STARIA, under the company’s recent multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) category, along with teaser images of the vehicle.

These images focus on the high-end variant of the series, the STARIA Premium.

According to the company, the name STARIA originated from a combination of ‘star’ and ‘ria’ which refers to the model’s future-oriented product values and streamlined design characteristics.

“STARIA is Hyundai’s new MPV lineup that opens up a new mobility era,” said Global Hyundai Design senior vice president and head SangYup Lee. “STARIA will provide a completely new experience and value proposition for customers through its unprecedented design features.”

The exterior of STARIA gives off the futuristic vibe of a spaceship with long horizontal daytime running light and headlamps and expansive panoramic windows and lower belt lines. Not forgetting the increased height of the cabin.

Its luxurious premium variant will be available in selected markets, highlighting premium features and exclusive finishes.

More details on the design features of STARIA and STARIA Premium will be revealed by Hyundai Motor in the upcoming weeks.
