Four roadblocks will be maintained by the police due to the recent implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Selangor that will be effective from today until May 17.

Following that, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru will also be joining the six districts that fall under MCO, starting from May 7 until May 20.

Among the locations for the roadblocks that fall under the Petaling district include the toll plazas of Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara, Damansara and Subang.

As mentioned by Petaling Jaya district police chief, ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid, the police will be partnering with the Petaling Jaya City Council in order to ensure that the public comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

"We will also increase manpower for the compliance operation teams," said Hamid.

"We hope for cooperation from all levels of society so that the spread of the virus can be curbed," he added.
