Back To Working From Office – Traffic congestion worsens, WFH Could Be The Best Way To Curb This Issue

Traffic congestion around the Klang Valley seems to worsen after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, because everyone has returned to full-time office work.

Associate Professor Dr Lew Teik Hua, a Road Safety Specialist, suggested:

• Make micromobility vehicles, such as electronic motorcycles, available in congested areas

• Increase parking at public transportation terminals

• Work from home (WFH) policy reuse

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is, however, has different thoughts on this issue;

• Only one company manages the traffic light system

• Heavy vehicles are prohibited from entering the capital during peak hours.

• Improve parking system management

Whatever it is, we believe that WFH re-implementation could be one of the most effective ways to overcome this problem.
