Apple CarPlay officially available on Perodua Alza

Here’s some good news to all Perodua Alza owners!

AppleCarPlay is now officially available to all Perodua Alza owners. Even so, bear in mind that only Alza's AV model could integrate with Apple CarPlay and Android functionality.

The Apple CarPlay feature on the nine-inch touchscreen display was previously disabled while waiting for MFi (Made for iPhone) certification approval which Apple predicts the process will take at least four months.

Along with the electronic parking brake with auto hold, the 360-degree surround view monitor, and the rear disc brakes, the Alza also receives several Perodua-first features including compatibility for Android Auto as well.

In the meantime, owners of Alzas who have already received their vehicles could acquire the software update at a Perodua service centre during their subsequent service or inspection as Apple CarPlay will be "activated" for you.  

Just let them know you’re an iPhone user and they’ll know what to do next!

Not to forget the software updates too. Alza owners are urged to make sure they receive the most recent software update to experience a seamless connectivity while driving with one and only Perodua Alza AV model.
