Ministry of Works (MoW) Secretary General, Dato’ Wira Wan Ahmad Uzir Wan Sulaiman and  the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) Director General, Dato’ Ir. Mohd Shuhaimi Hassan together with DASH Highway officials.

The Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) is set to be launched on 13 October 2022 based on the Google search result date and the recent social media teases dropped by the folks at DASH. Furthermore, on 4th October the Ministry of Works (MoW) Secretary General, Dato’ Wira Wan Ahmad Uzir Wan Sulaiman and  the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) Director General, Dato’ Ir. Mohd Shuhaimi Hassan had visited the DASH expressway to observe and witness the readiness of the expressway.

Throughout the 20.1KM route, there would be a total of thirteen intersections connecting DASH to other highways along its route namely Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), NKVE, LDP, and SPRINT’s Penchala Link. Listed below are the intersections available throughout DASH:

  • Persimpangan Puncak Perdana

  • Persimpangan Alam Suria

  • Persimpangan Denai Alam

  • Persimpangan Kampung Melayu Subang

  • Persimpangan Pinggiran Subang

  • Persimpangan Subang 2

  • Persimpangan Subang Airport

  • Persimpangan RRIM Kwasa Damansara

  • Persimpangan Surian

  • Persimpangan Seksyen 5 Kota Damansara

  • Persimpangan Sunway Damansara

  • Persimpangan Damansara Perdana

  • Persimpangan Penchala

However, when we were browsing through progress images of DASH on their web, it was clear that there seems to be some routes that are passing by highrise apartments and condominiums. Of which, only a selected few seem to be covered. We assume that this is to board-off vehicle noises from the residents. How did the DASH authorities decide on which areas need to be covered and which not. If any of our readers have any idea on this decision process, do drop us your thoughts.
