Sime Darby Motors Centralised Body and Paint Centre accredited as a Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre

Sime Darby Motors Centralised Body and Paint Centre which is located in Bukit Jelutong is now accredited as a Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre (VCDR). This marks the facility to stand as one of only two Volvo service centres in Malaysia that aligned with the latest technology and trained technicians which complies with VCDR standards.

The facility could afford a capacity of 1,260 vehicles per year and offer a range of services such as body repair and paint for Volvo Cars including hybrid as well as electric vehicles.

Apart from using advanced art body repair systems and well-developed tools, the VCDR standard not only has a fast 3D sensor-equipped measuring system but also ensures sustainable technology is integrated within the facility to minimise environmental impact.

Adding on to that, a paint booth setup is also built which creates a well-ventilated and dust-free environment that aims to provide the best outcome for Volvo cars.

According to Managing Director of Retails and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia, Jeffrey Gan has stated that the VCDR standard is part of their efforts to continuously unlock value for customers.

‘’By integrating the VCDR standard at our Sime Darby Motors Centralised Body and Paint facility, this supports our commitment to good Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, while ensuring that we provide world-class end-to-end services for Volvo cars” he added.

The VCDR programme allows every customer who spends a minimum of RM3,000 on body and paint repair services at Sime Darby Swedish Auto which will be entitled to receive free interior and exterior detailing including ozone cleaning worth RM1,200 with T&C apply.

However, take into consideration that the VCDR programme is valid until the end of this year.
