Volvo Car Malasia (VCM) announced minor additions and new details on selected 2026MY models on offer.

Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) continues to see its local line-up receive minor updates. In a press release issued earlier today, the firm announced minor additions and confirmed several other details for selected 2026 model year (2026MY) offerings.

VCM have added a new Aurora Silver exterior colour choice for this flagship three-row SUV offering.

We’ll start with the XC90 as this flagship SUV offering gains a new Aurora Silver exterior colour choice. This comes on top of the existing Onyx Black, Denim Blue and Crystal White hues already on offer.

As a refresher, the heavily revised second-gen XC90 launched back in April this year alongside its all-electric EX90 twin. This three-row luxury SUV comes in either B5 AWD mild-hybrid (MHEV) or T8 AWD plug-in hybrid (PHEV) guises.

As for price, VCM has tagged the XC90 B5 AWD MHEV variant at RM328,888, whereas the range-topping XC90 T8 AWD PHEV commands RM362,888 instead. You can get to grips with both through our launch report by clicking here.

Next, VCM also reconfirmed prices for its refreshed global best seller the XC60 at RM328,888 (B5 MHEV) and RM362,888 (T8 PHEV).

Next, VCM also reconfirmed prices for the face-lifted XC60 model slotted just below. Announced back in Sept this year, the marque’s global best-seller was updated earlier this year with a new grille design plus a host of minor improvements all around.

Like the larger XC90 detailed, the refreshed XC60 also sees both B5 AWD MHEV and T8 AWD PHEV guises available.

Prospects will be glad to know that the confirmed prices are slightly lower than initially reported as the XC60 B5 AWD MHEV commands RM328,888 whereas the XC60 T8 AWD PHEV is tagged at RM362,888. More details are available in our initial launch report by clicking here.

More recently, VCM has also launched a new single-motor variant of its newly renamed EC40 EV crossover coupe (previously called the C40 Recharge).

Lastly, VCM also took the opportunity to once again highlight the availability of the new single-motor variant of the EC40 EV crossover coupe. Recently launched in Sept solely in ‘Ultra’ trimline, this variant boasts an extended range of 488 KM (WLTP).

It continues to harness a 70 kWh battery pack, but this now juices a single rear-mounted e-motor outputting 238 PS and 420 Nm to enable 0-100 km/h sprints in 7.3 secs and a claimed V-max of 180 km/h.

Notably, this newly added single-motor variant of the EC40 also boats a much more accessible price tag of RM248,888. Again, more details are available through our initial report by clicking here.
