KTMB ETS Additional Tickets For KL Sentral - Padang Besar Return Route On Sale Now!

In view of the upcoming year-end school and public holidays, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is deploying two additional Platinum Electric Train Services (ETS) from KL Sentral to Padang Besar round trip route.


According to KTMB, the additional routes would only be on every Friday to Monday in the month of December starting from 9th December 2022 up to 2nd January 2023. This additional route would offer 10,080 extra tickets for destinations such as Ipoh, Butterworth, Alor Setar and Padang Besar.


Based on the statement by KTMB, more than 55 percent of tickets have been sold for the KL Sentral - Padang Besar - KL Sentral route during the weekend. This is expected to continue increasing due to school and public holidays. Train users are advised to purchase their tickets through the KTMB Mobile application (KITS) or through the KTMB website. The additional tickets go on sale beginning today 25th November.
