As reported, Pakatan Harapan (PH) stated that the party will abolish tolls along the North-South Highway (PLUS) if they prevail the 15th General Election (GE15).

The PH-led government also declared that passenger cars, buses, and taxis (class 1, 4, and 5) would receive an 18 percent toll rate discount for using the North-South Highway.

On top of that, Sinar Harian shares that it will includes the Klang Valley New Expressway (NKVE), North-South Expressway Lingkaran Tengah (ELITE), Malaysia-Singapore Second Line Expressway (LINKEDUA), East Coast Expressway Phase 2 (LPT 2), Seremban - Port Dickson Expressway (SPDH), and Butterworth - Kulim Expressway (BKE) as well as class 2, 3, 4 and 5 vehicles for the Island Bridge Pinang.

Citing a China Press report, Lim Guan Eng, DAP Chairman Lim Guan Eng said PH could abolish the highway toll if given a five-year governing period.

He said this while delivering a speech at a dinner party in Jelapang on Sunday night.

"All because of the people. For the people, from the people for the people.” Referring to one of the cliché sentences that are often used by political bettors in this country.
