- Volvo EX90 Teases Headrest and Headlights Ahead of This Week’s Debut
![]()
Volvo’s PR machine is working in overdrive as it builds up hype for the upcoming EX90 launch that’s taking place this week on Nov 9.

The Swedish marque teased the EX90’s exterior design earlier last week, featuring two images of the front and rear facades. What stands out from said photos are Volvo’s iconic Thor’s Hammer headlights design. The same applies to the EX90’s rear facade teaser, with its taillight design being the only visible design element while the rest are being purposely blurred.

The new EX90 shares the same advanced SPA2 platform as its cousins, the Polestar 3 EV SUV. This, in turn, sees the EX90 boasts Volvo’s latest and greatest tech available, with an extra emphasis on advanced safety features. Key to this is the inclusion of 16 ultrasonic sensors, eight cameras and five external radars that work in tandem with the cutting-edge LiDAR system mounted on the SUV’s roof.
As mentioned, the Volvo EX90 will be unveiled on Nov 9, 2022 through a special event held in Stockholm, Sweden that will be broadcasted live online as well. We’ll have more once it’s officially unveiled then.
