Mansory Previews Latest Build Based On The BMW X7

Renowned tuners of high-end and exotic cars Mansory have released a preview of its upcoming build based on the BMW X7,. While these are merely digital renderings for now, the tuning house is known for executing things as such into a reality, and perhaps a full-blown kit package.

What’s very eye-catching here is the striking green hue Mansory chose to dress this X7 build in. If anything, this takes some attention away from the other exterior tweaks done to this full-sized luxury SUV that sits as the flagship in the BMW X Series range.

Though it appears to be based on the M-packaged X7 variant, Mansory has envisioned it to rock slightly different kidney grilles that appear to be smaller than stock. Below said grilles are several smaller intakes, followed by a heavily modified front bumper featuring larger openings and a trapezoidal lower grille.

Mansory has also widened the X7 thanks to a widebody kit that includes flared wheel arches. At the rear, Mansory have added a new bumper extension to match the aggressive lines seen in the side profile, body-coloured lower diffuser flanked by a quad-exhaust setup plus new black trim piece, as well as a new trim surrounding the windscreen.

You may also notice that this X7 sits visually lower than the base X7. This likely stems from (presumably) a lowered sports suspension kit, followed by the addition of massive 24-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. In case you were wondering, Mansory says they’ve readied at least 11 wheel design options for customers to choose from too.

Notably, while these renderings appear to be based upon the pre-facelift version of the X7, Mansory were coy about this supposed new kit’s compatibility with the recently refreshed version. We also won’t discount the possibility of the firm offering this kit as a ‘reverse facelift’ for owners who don’t fancy the outlook of the refreshed X7, especially with its large grilles.

Besides that, Mansory were also coy about revealing any performance upgrades it plans for this build. Nevertheless, given their knack for doing so, we can expect massive horsepower and torque gains over the stock X7’s figures – depending on variant, petrol-powered versions of the base X7 offer anywhere between 335 HP and 523 HP.

What do you folks think of Mansory’s latest vision for House Bavaria’s flagship full-sized SUV, then? Would you fancy this redux over the firm’s usual affair with things like the Mercedes G-Class instead? Hit the comments below with your thoughts…
