- Will You Buy This Former F1 Team Motorhome?
The Force India F1 motorhome facility has now been placed on the market for sale. If you've watched the Netflix series Drive to Survive or even been to any F1 event (2018 F1 Season), you’d probably know this facility.
This luxurious motorhome that stretches over three floors is now on sale for €500,000 (approx. RM280 million) on eBay under the residential caravans and motorhomes section which can be picked up in Hildesheim, Germany.
Owned by the Force India team, the motorhome designed with sleeping areas, bathrooms, showers, a full kitchen, and offices appear like a permanent fixture at each track.
There's even a top-floor lounge with a large deck to look out on the paddock which includes fully furnished items with all the desks, chairs, massage tables, and other fixtures the team used.
Long-time fans will remember the iconic pink color scheme of the squad, which later became Racing Point after businessman Lawrence Stroll purchased the team. Now that the outfit races under the Aston Martin guise, the former motorhome needs a new owner.
Furthermore, the new buyer will receive a couple of valuable merchandise and souvenirs that come with the motorhome facility. This includes pictures of the F1 cars, posters, track guides, training materials for various racetracks, and even a pair of Esteban Ocon's racing underwear.
Nevertheless, whoever purchases the historical F1 motorhome could launch their own race team or simply host any event and steal the spotlight.
If you're wondering how a three-story structure with massage tables and commercial refrigerators can be considered a motorhome, it collapses and lies flat for transportation.
Surprisingly, it only requires four people and a crane to take down and put back up. Thus, moving it around requires five trucks which probably increases fuel costs.
