- Lamborghini Teases New Model Ahead of Monterey Car Week Debut
Renowned Italian marque Lamborghini has published a new teaser image of an upcoming model, which is set to be unveiled at the upcoming Monterey Car Week later this week. Announced via Lamborghini’s official Facebook page, this single teaser image showcases the silhouette of an unknown model draped in shadow, paired with a caption that reads, "Something new and truly thrilling is about to be unveiled."

Upon further inspection, you’ll notice that this new model comes with the same design language we saw on several existing Lambo models, notably its sharp greenhouse and angular body style. Aside from that, the car seems to have a rather curvy shoulder line, while the roofline seems quite long for a two-seater supercar.
Lamborghini president & CEO Stephan Winkelmann
Prior to this teaser image, Lamborghini president and CEO Stephan Winkelmann has previously confirmed that the Italian marque is planning to debut a new EV GT concept, which will enter production in the second half of this decade. Described as the “first prototype of our fourth series production car” by the marque, this EV prototype will be a 2+2 grand tourer, while Winkelmann also confirmed that it will be “much more daily usable” than the Huracan, but insisted that it won’t be the Urus SUV replacement.
Apart from this vague teaser image, there’s nothing much we’ve known about this new EV concept model, except that it’ll share similar EV components with other EV models from the Volkswagen Group, just like how the Urus shares its underpinnings with Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, and Bentley Bentayga – all brands under the VW Group.
Moreover, a Lambo-badged 2+2 grand tourer is not an entirely new thing, as the marque previously sold GT models back in the 1960s like the 400 GT 2+2, Islero, Uracco, as well as the Espada, with the latter discontinued until the late 1970s.
All-new Lamborghini Revuelto plug-in hybrid hypercar
Should this new EV concept make its debut in a few years’ time, it will spearhead the marque’s effort in stepping onto the electromobility world, which will be followed by few electrified models, including both the Huracan and Urus successors. As for now, the all-new Lamborghini Revuelto PHEV stands out as the marque’s sole electrified production model.
This all-new Lamborghini EV concept is poised to make its global debut on August 18 at the ongoing Monterey Car Week, taking place at Pebble Beach, California. Only by then we'll get to know more about this mysterious EV concept, which will be Lambo's first-ever all-electric model.
