- Here Are The Highways That Accept Open Payment System From September
Starting in September, 12 highways will accept payments made with debit and credit cards through the open payment system.
They are the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (Akleh), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Sungai Besi Expressway (Besraya), New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Penang Bridge (JPP) and Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE), according to Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi. Other highways include Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya Expressway (MEX), Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas), Western Kuala Lumpur Traffic Dispersal Scheme (SPRINT), Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), and SMART Tunnel.
Along with the existing payment methods of the Touch 'n Go card, SmartTag, and radio frequency identification (RFID), road users can now use the open payment system.
