- New ChargeSini 60 kW DCFC At Mydin Hypermarket In Jasin, Melaka - RM1.19/kWh
ChargeSini rolled out a new 60 kW DC Fast Charging (DCFC) station located on the premises of the Mydin Hypermarket in Melaka’s Jasin district.
This latest addition to its network was borne out of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both ChargeSini and Mydin Hypermarket in Oct earlier this year. Moreover, it now stands as the only DCFC EV charging station in said district of the historic city-state.
Said new station houses a dual-gun CCS2 Wattbox 60 kW DC charger that serves two dedicated EV charging bays. These are now accessible through the ChargeSini mobile app that’s available across both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
As usual, these EV charging bays are furnished with ChargeSini’s automated parking barrier system. Lowering these barriers, which are designed to deter ‘ICEing’, for access to the 60 kW DC charger mentioned can be done via the ChargeSini app.
This facility levies its users with a kWh-based rate of RM1.19/kWh. Users are bound by a RM5 minimum charging fee, 15-minute grace period to relocate their vehicles upon completing their charging sessions, and an idle fee of RM1 for each 5-minute block after.
This latest addition is the first of a planned series of 24 DC charging stations planned for installation at selected Mydin outlets nationwide. Several weeks prior, ChargeSini and Mydin had also activated a similar EV charging station at the latter‘s Bukit Mertajam, Penang outlet.
Presently, ChargeSini has rolled out a total of 145 EV charging stations nationwide with a total of 461 plug counts - figures are based on data tabulated by the AGMO.
