“Chery Eco Run serves as a significant stepping stone for us as we stride towards a future where electric vehicles and green technology seamlessly integrate with today's active lifestyle, fostering a healthier living environment,” said Chery Malaysia President Leo Chen.
“As a brand, Chery aims not only to be recognised within this shift but also to take a pioneering role in driving these advancements,” continued Chen. He also added that overwhelming response from the participants have prompted Chery Malaysia to consider making this an annual event.
The run featured two categories - 5 KM and 10 KM. Prizes and certificates were awarded and handed out to participants at the end of their run.
Apart from enjoying a good run, participants of the Chery Eco Run 2024 were treated with the opportunity to view and inspect a fleet of Chery vehicles. Models like the Omoda 5, Tiggo 8 Pro, and the still not launched and all-electric Omoda E5, were displayed especially for them at the event’s site.
Loyal CariCarz.com followers will know by know that the firm is set to introduce said all-electric (EV) twin to the Omoda 5, which was previewed some time back, in March this year.
