FOCM Charts New Record for Largest Ferrari Gathering with 297 Cars
Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia sets a new record with 297 Ferraris gathered at its annual festival this year.
The Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia (FOCM) recently set a new record during its annual 2024 FOCM Festival last weekend. Held at the KL Base in Kuala Lumpur on May 18, a total of 297 Ferrari cars were gathered during the festival.
With over 600 guests attending the prestigious festival, the breathtaking display of 297 Ferrari cars spanned from the classics like the Ferrari Dino to modern-day marvels like the SF90 Stradale and even the super-rare LaFerrari Aperta.
Besides that, visitors were also treated to an immersive experience at the Ferrari Classiche Exhibition, featuring timeless models such as the Ferrari 308 GTS, Ferrari 328 GTB, and Ferrari F355 Berlinetta.
The climax of the festival was during the arrival of all 297 cars from FOCM members, where representatives from the Malaysian Book of World Records were present to officiate this record-breaking feat. Present to accept this momentous accomplishment were FOCM president Mr. Abu Rizal Bakri, and Mr. Zahir Kelvin Ong, executive director of Ital Auto Malaysia.
Apart from the display of classic and modern Ferraris, attendees to the 2024 FOCM Festival were also treated to a captivating performance by renowned South Korean artist DJ Soda and many more fun activities.
In case you missed it, Ital Auto Malaysia was recently appointed as the new official importer and distributor for Ferrari cars in Malaysia. Ever since the firm’s takeover of Ferrari Malaysia’s reign from Naza Italia last year, Ital Auto Malaysia has seen the arrival of both the new Ferrari Roma Spider and Ferrari Purosangue into our market.
As of now, Ital Auto Malaysia’s operation comprises a showroom located at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, plus a temporary service centre in Glenmarie Shah Alam. The firm is currently working to establish its first flagship 3S centre somewhere in the Klang Valley area, set to be operational by the first quarter of 2025.
