Final Jaguar F-Type Rolls Off to Join Brand’s Heritage Collection
Jaguar has produced the last F-Type model, marking an end to a 50-year-long heritage that was started by the E-Type.
Jaguar is saying goodbye to one of its most beloved nameplates, as the final F-Type sportscar just rolled off its production line at Castle Bromwich Assembly in the UK. Just like many other legendary Jaguar models, the final F-Type will be laid to rest in the Jaguar Heritage collection, where it will be kept in safe hands by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.
Befitting its Albion roots, the final F-Type is being painted in a special Giola Green hue that pays homage to the brand's long racing heritage. Arriving in the V8 Convertible form, the final F-Type also gets a Tan Windsor leather interior with a black convertible roof while housing a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 mill that delivers 575 HP and 700 NM.
These colour selections are not a mere coincidence, as it has a similar configuration to the final E-Type that was built by the automaker, with said model rolling off its production facility 50 years before the final F-Type was unveiled.

The F-Type was originally revealed back in 2013, arriving in both hardtop coupe and convertible versions. Its sleek and sporty design has instantly garnered F-Type rave reviews amongst buyers and professionals alike, not to mention the scintillating sounds that came from either of its V6 or V8 powertrains.
As a result, a total of 87,731 F-Types have been built by Jag, which is quite a figure, especially for an exotic sportscar. While its production has officially ended, the F-Type will remain available to customers until early 2025.
“The singular vision of Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons, was to always be future-facing, relevant, and original. This has been the foundation of Jaguar through almost a century of evolving contemporary British luxury,” said Rowdon Glover, Jaguar managing director.
“Today, as we celebrate the F-Type and our 75-year history of innovative Jaguar sports cars, we are also looking forward to the beginning of a new era. We will reimagine and elevate the Jaguar brand, which will be focused on growing client intimacy and engagement, underpinned by our purpose to inspire like no other.”
As of now, there are no words regarding the successor to the F-Type. With Jaguar now in the midst of transitioning into a luxury EV marque, we can expect the new ‘F-Type’ will boast an all-electric powertrain instead of the glorious V8 used on its predecessor.
Before we get to see the all-electric F-Type’s successor, however, Jaguar is poised to spearhead its all-electric, all-luxurious transition with a new four-door grand tourer model, which will make its global debut later in 2025.
