- Zeekr Plans To Roll Out 4 SUVs, 2 MPVs & An Estate By 2026
Geely-backed Zeekr's ambitious product plans were revealed by Deutsche Bank, indicating the premium EV brand's strategy to launch seven new vehicles by 2026. This rollout includes four crossovers, two minivans, and one estate.
Zeekr, established by Geely Group in 2021, has rapidly gained traction, delivering over 67,000 cars in the first five months of 2024. The current lineup features the X SUV crossover, 001 liftback, 007 sedan, and 009 MPV. The brand is set to expand significantly with the introduction of seven new models.
Zeekr's Upcoming Launches
This year, Zeekr plans to introduce two new models:
- Zeekr Mix MPV: This compact multi-purpose vehicle, which recently debuted at the Beijing Auto Show 2024, has already applied for a sales licence in China. The Mix stands out with its dimensions of 4688/1995/1755 mm and a wheelbase of 3008 mm, offering a spacious interior with flexible seating options of 3+3, 2+3, and 2+2 configurations. The vehicle's design includes the Zeekr Stargate interactive LED light strip, which can project images and textIt is powered by a silicon carbide synchronous permanent magnet electric motor with 310 kW and 440 NM on the rear axle. The entry-level variant has a 77 kWh LFP battery for a range of 550 KM, while the long-range version features a 102.7 kWh ternary NMC battery for up to 712 KM, both supplied by CATL.
- Zeekr Ark (CX1E): This SUV is built on the PMA2 platform, shared with the 007 sedan, and follows the Hidden Energy design language. Often referred to as the SUV version of the 007, the Ark measures 4.7 metres in length and is expected to share the 007's powertrain, with a peak output of 475 kW (636 hp) and a 100-kWh ternary NMC battery from CATL.
Next year will see the launch of three more models:
- Zeekr 007 Estate (CC1E): Designed specifically for the European market, this vehicle emphasises Zeekr's serious intentions to expand overseas. Currently in pre-production, it is expected to bring the same high performance and advanced features as the other Zeekr models.
- EX1E SUV: Details are sparse, but the codename suggests it is a large E-SUV, possibly targeting the upper market segment.
- DX1E SUV: Similarly, this model's codename indicates it is a midsize-SUV, aimed at competing in the popular mid-size SUV market.
In 2026, Zeekr plans to add two more models to its portfolio:
- Beluga Minivan: Though specific details are not yet available, but this minivan is expected to offer premium features and spaciousness.
- Grampus Crossover: Also shrouded in mystery, the Grampus is anticipated to continue Zeekr's trend of high-performance, well-designed crossovers.
