- Launched: 2024 Maserati Grecale – 2 Variants, From RM634,889
Naza Italia are now accepting orders for the lightly revised 2024 Maserati Grecale SUV, which sees two variants available - GT Hybrid (left) and Trofeo (right).
Sole Maserati importer and distributor Naza Italia sees its line-up updated slightly as it opens up the order books for the updated 2024 Maserati Grecale range. As before, the compact luxury SUV sees two variants available – GT Hybrid and Trofeo.
Visually, it appears little has changed in this 2024MY version compared to the 2023MY version that Naza Italia launched locally back in March last year. What has though are some on board featured and price.
The GT Hybrid continues to pack a midly-electrified (MHEV) 4-cyl turbo mill outputting 300 HP and 450 NM.
Starting with the GT Hybrid, it continues to pack the same 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol heart paired with a 48-volt Belt Starter Generator (BSG) mild-hybrid (MHEV) system, altogether offering an unchanged 300 HP and 450 NM outputs to enable 0-100 KM/H sprints in 5.6 seconds.
The peppier Trofeo also continues to harness a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo petrol heart that kicks out 530 HP and 620 NM. This sportier flagship does the century sprint in a rapid 3.8 seconds instead, and it also sports beefier six-piston Brembo braking hardware plus active air suspension primed as standard.
The Trofeo variant remains the peppiest of the two as it packs a twin-turbo V6 outputting 530 HP and 620 NM, altogether enabling 0-100 KM/H in just 3.8 secs.
A quick glance at the spec sheet provided shows one major change in kit, that being the inclusion of the Maserati Vehicle Dynamic Control Module (VDCM) as standard equipment across both variants. This, according to Maserati, grants 360-degree control over the car across its various drive modes.
Apart from which, much of the 2024MY Grecale appears unchanged from the 2023MY version we sized up last year. Key cabin tech includes the Maserati Intelligent assistant (MIA) infotainment suite, Sonus Faber surround audio suite featuring up to 21 speakers, and more.
Apart from the added Maserati VDCM as standard kit in the GT Hybrid, what's changed too are base prices - RM634,889 (GT Hybrid) and RM1,100,000 (Trofeo).
Minor spec sheet additions aside, what has also changed is the model’s price, which has increased. For the Grecale GT Hybrid, it’s base price now reads at RM634,889, whilst the Grecale Trofeo now starts form RM1,100,000, both excluding additional options, customisation and on-road costs.
Both prices continue to see a 3-year, unlimited mileage full Maserati warranty coverage included. As before, buyers also have the option to extend this up to a 10-year span at additional costs. Orders for the 2024MY Maserati Grecale can now be placed at the flagship Maserati showroom in Petaling Jaya.
