- MyJPJ Transactions Surpass RM28mil In Just One Month - DG
With the launch of online transactions in June of last year, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) saw a notable increase in revenue last month, with over RM28 million recorded through the MyJPJ digital application.
Its director-general (DG), Aedy Fadly Ramli, stated that payments received through the new FPX payment gateway were nine times higher than the RM3 million collected through the MySikap portal during the same period.
“We’ve received positive responses from MyJPJ users opting for online transactions, this marks a new milestone for JPJ,” Aedy Fadly said in an interview with Bernama.
Since the MyJPJ app's release in February of last year, over 12.7 million users had downloaded it as of yesterday.
The public's recognition of the convenience JPJ provides through digital services, he continued, has effectively decreased the need for in-person visits to renew motor vehicle licenses (LKM) and Malaysian driving licenses (LMM).
Through the MyJPJ application, users can check summonses, renew driver and vehicle licenses, access the vehicle number bidding platform (JPJeBid), and use the queue number application (JPJeQ).
Aedy Fadly also announced that the government, through JPJ, intends to release MyJPJ version two by the end of the following year in order to further improve the application.
