- DBKL No Longer Accepting JomParking App To Pay For Parking In KL
Road users will no longer be able to pay for parking within their jurisdiction using the JomParking app, according to a statement released by the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL), as the city council has terminated its partnership with the app, effective January 1, 2025.
For the record, JomParking was one of the app providers for roadside parking lots in the city before DBKL recently declared on its official Facebook page that the JomParking app services in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur had been discontinued.
The city council did, however, guarantee that JomParking users may continue to spend their credits for roadside parking spots that were under the control of local councils that still support the app. Under DBKL's purview, you can still pay for roadside parking using other apps, such as EZ KL Smart Park, Flexi Parking, Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, Mcash, and Ekupon.
