- Lego Debuts Latest Car Project – C8 Corvette Stingray
One of the best things about Lego is that it's as enjoyable today as it was in childhood, thanks to an ever-expanding selection of construction kits. Lego recognises that play isn't just for kids, so we adults can get back into some hands-on fun—especially if we like cars.
Good news, Lego enthusiasts! Your C8 Corvette Stingray has come and is now available on the Lego website. It is a 732-piece set that includes parts like a differential between the wheels and a functional V-8 engine under the rear decklid.
The C8 set is 10.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and slightly over 3.0 inches tall. It's a big model, however not nearly as big as the 2022 Daytona SP3 with 3778 pieces. Even the front wheels may be turned by builders using a knob on the roof.
The overall look could be hard to recognise without the Corvette stickers. From the side, the car's massive air intakes are hard to discern, and the front and rear sections look unfinished. It appears somewhat incomplete, and some people believe it to be more akin to a Z06.
The Lego Technic Chevrolet Corvette is currently available for pre-order, with sales slated to ship starting March 1. Customers will also be able to use this car in the game Asphalt Legends Unite, where models like the Lego McLaren Senna GTR are currently playable.
