- Zeekr 007 GT Official Images Unveil A Sleek EV GT Wagon
The first official images of the Zeekr 007 GT have been unveiled, featuring a sleek EV GT wagon bodystyle.
It is no secret that Zeekr is developing a long-roofed version of its 007 EV saloon, set to be known as the Zeekr 007 GT. Ahead of its global debut later this year, the Chinese automaker has published several official images of this upcoming EV, featuring a sleek wagon bodystyle with some familiar design cues derived from its saloon twin.
As per any saloon-based estates out there, the 007 GT’s front half looks identical to the 007 sedan, featuring the same full-width LED light bar and grill-less front face. Not to forget, the 007 GT also comes with the same LiDAR unit seen on the saloon, thus indicating a high degree of autonomous driving capabilities primed to this EV wagon.
Beyond the B-pillars, the 007 GT gets an extended roof, with the D-pillars seamlessly merging with the rear windscreen, giving this wagon a sleek, coupe-ish look a la Zeekr 001 liftback. Not to forget, a pair of roof rails is also present here, which completes the 007’s wagon makeover.
Although no specific numbers were given by Zeekr, we believe that the 007 GT will have roughly similar dimensions to its sedan twin, with the latter measuring 4,880 MM long, 1,900 MM wide, 1,448 MM tall, and a wheelbase of 2,928 MM. But given its long-roofed bodystyle, we can expect the 007 GT to boast a more spacious interior and cargo compartment.
With the updated 2025 Zeekr 007 gets Geely's new Golden Battery technology, we can expect the 007 GT wagon to get the same battery specs.
Given that both the 007 GT and 007 sedan are practically identical, it comes as no surprise that the 007 GT wagon will get the same powertrain setup as the saloon model, including both Geely’s PMA2+ platform with an 800-volt battery architecture and ‘Golden Battery’ technology that enables up to 500 kW of DCFC speeds. Similarly, two battery options will be made available for this EV wagon, namely the smaller 75-kWh LFP ‘Golden Battery’ unit and a larger 100-kWh NMC-type unit.
2025 Zeekr 007 Performance AWD
As for the powertrain itself, the 007 sedan comes in two options, with the baseline single-motor RWD variant rated at up to 416 HP (310 kW), which allows a decent 0-100 KM/H sprint time of five seconds flat. Meanwhile, the top-spec 007 Performance AWD’s dual-motor setup is capable of delivering up to 637 HP (475 kW), granting the EV saloon with a rapid century sprint time of only 2.84 seconds.
The all-new Zeekr 007 GT EV wagon is expected to make its first public appearance at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2025 motor show, with sales set to commence later in Q2 2025 in its native China. In Europe, this sleek EV wagon will be known as the Zeekr 7 GT, where it will serve as an equally capable yet more affordable alternative to European EV wagons such as the Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer, Audi A6 e-tron, and Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, to name a few.
