In observance of the fasting month of Ramadhan and to accommodate the breaking fast hours, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has announced adjusted operating hours for its offices throughout the country.

The JPJ state headquarters and branch offices will operate from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. At UTCs, the department will maintain their usual operating hours from Monday through Sunday.

However, there is an exception on the last day of Ramadhan. To accommodate preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, UTCs will adjust their hours and close early. The specific closing time will depend on the location.

In most regions, UTCs will operate from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the last day of Ramadan. However, in Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan, the UTC operating hours are different due to variations in weekend observance.  In these states, UTCs will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Sunday to Wednesday. On Thursday, the operating hours will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
