- Launched: 2025 Toyota GR Supra Track Edition – From RM698,000
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) announced the availability of the 2025 Toyota GR Supra Track Edition earlier today.
Besides the 2025 Toyota GR Yaris 8AT, UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) also updated its performance models range by announcing the availability of the new 2025 Toyota GR Supra Track Edition.
The Track Edition guise now replaces the standard GR Supra model the firm offered prior. Like before both 6-speed manual and 8-speed automatic transmission options continue to be available in this sports coupe co-developed with BMW.
Both 6-speed manual (6MT) and 8-speed automatic (8AT) transmission options continue to be available, as well as five exterior paintjob options.
We’ll dive straight into the Track Edition enhancements, and it sees revised Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), followed by re-tuned electric power steering and limited-slip diff modules, all for enhanced grip, sharper feedback, and high-speed cornering.
Enhanced too the anchors as the Track Edition gains larger 374 MM front brake rotors grabbed by quad-piston Brembo calipers adorned with the GR badge painted on them. New here too are the chassis' reinforced front control arm, stiffer stabiliser bar and reinforced rubber bushings.
Whilst rolling stock remains unchanged, the brakes have been beefed up with larger rotors plus Brembo quad-piston calipers up front. Besides that comes a slew of chassis and aero enhancements.
The Track Edition also bring a series of enhanced aerodynamic parts, namely through the extended tyre sparts, aero flaps, as well as a newly added carbon fibre ducktail bootlid spoiler. Visually, this also adds to this sports coupe’s kerbside appeal.
As for rolling stock, there are no changes here as the Track Edition continues to roll on 19-inch forged alloy wheels shod in grippy Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres with staggered front-rear profiles of 255/35 and 275/35 respectively.
On board, the Track Edition sees its cabin fashioned in combination black Alcantara and leather upholstery, followed by a slew of red accents.
On board, the Track Edition guise for Malaysia sees the cabin brimmed with black Alcantara and leather upholstery combination with red contrast elements, the latter covering the seatbelts, seat trim, contrast stitching, as a red-ring for the 6MT’s shifter.
Mechanically though, the 2025 Toyota GR Supra Track Edition sees no changes under the hood from the ‘regular’ GR Supra model it replaces. As a refresher, this sports coupe is powered by the mighty BMW B58 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight 6-cyl powerplant.
Those familiar with the mill, identical to what powers both the BMW M340i xDrive and BMW x5 xDrive50e M Sport, will remember i puts out 388 PS and 500 NM to the rear wheels in this sports coupe, thus enabling 0-100 KM/H dashes in 4.1 secs (AT) and 4.3 secs (MT).
As for price, things start from RM698,000 for the 2025 Toyota GR Supra Track Edition.
As for price, the added performance goodies sees the 2025 Toyota GR Supra Track Edition command higher figures of RM698,000 (MT) and RM708,000 (AT). Included in said prices is a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty coverage.
As a refresher, the regular version offered previously was priced at RM645,000 (MT) and RM655,000 (AT).
Barring the 300-unit ‘Final Edition’ special, this is perhaps the final form of the A90-gen GR Supra to be offered officially in Malaysia before the model bows out of production later this year.
