- Meet Mornine, A Robot Car Salesperson Of The Future
Robotics has made substantial progress in the auto industry since Honda's Asimo and Toyota's musical robots a decade ago. Chery of China has recently unveiled a remarkably lifelike humanoid robot.
Chery International, the parent company of OMODA & JAECOO, publicly introduced the AiMOGA Robot, the first embodied intelligent humanoid within the Chery brand's smart ecosystem, deployed for the first time in a Malaysian dealership, specifically at the JOYSTAR 4S center in Kuala Lumpur.
Some people might not appreciate dealing with salespeople while purchasing a car since, let's face it, some of them can be really pushy at times. Well, robots may eventually take the place of pushy salespeople in the future.
There comes the AiMOGA, a life-size female robot that greets visitors, explains car features, offers drinks, and assists with test drive scheduling. Her gentle, amiable demeanour made it seem less like a machine and more like a helpful host.
Named Mornine, the humanoid utilizes "CheryGPT" and DeepSeek AI to understand and respond to natural language effectively. Equipped with bionic limbs, it can walk and gesture. Its appearance includes stylish blue sunglasses and a streak of blonde hair.
Chery also displayed Mornine at the prestigious 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, where it drew substantial interest from industry professionals and the general public. She seamlessly integrates artificial intelligence, robots, and automotive technology, providing a futuristic peek of how customer service in automobile dealerships may change globally.
