According to CarNewsChina, Chery Group as a whole has shipped a total of 224,439 passenger vehicles globally in July 2025 alone, marking a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 14.7%. The Wuhu-based automaker also reported positive growth in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, with 65,357 units sold last month—a 44.1% YoY increase over the same period last year.

With these positive sales figures, Chery Group has retained its position as the leading exporter of Chinese automobiles for over 20 years, with 119,090 vehicles exported in July 2025, up 31.9% from the previous year.
