UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) sees its March 2025 sales record a steady pace with 7,929 units shifted.

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) revealed via press release issued earlier today that it recorded a steady sales of 7,929 units in March 2025. In turn, this brings the firm’s year-to-date (YTD) sales total up to 19,944 units.

Critically, UMWT’s sales pace recorded last month marked a healthy increase compared to its performance in Feb 2025 where it shifted 6,632 units. UMWT also credits both sustained customer confidence and growing demands as key drivers to this increase.

Furthermore, UMWT also singled out the recently refreshed Toyota Corolla Cross model in playing a pivotal role driving both the firm’s general sales pace and interest towards the brand’s renowned hybrid powertrain technology.

The Corolla Cross was first launched in Malaysia back in 2021, and it recently saw a face-lifted version introduced during KLIMS 2024. The latter sees three variants on offer, including a newly introduced GR Sport range-topper priced at RM148,800.

UMWT adds that since 2021, the Corolla Cross nameplate's sales in Malaysia has now reached a total of 23.031 units.

UMWT adds that since 2021, sales of the Corolla Cross model line in Malaysia have reached a total of 23,031 units. In turn, this effort also supports the Toyota multi-pathway strategy towards carbon neutrality, adds the firm further.

“As part of its multi-pathway strategy to reduce carbon emissions, UMWT views hybrid technology as a key enabler in delivering cleaner, smarter mobility solutions tailored to evolving customer needs,” reaffirmed UMWT President Datuk Ravindran K.

Looking ahead, UMWT is poised to keep this momentum thanks to its new campaign held this month in conjunction with the festive Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday celebrations. Headlining this are promotions worth up to RM9,500, as well as flexible financing options from RM658 onwards.
