- Ferrari Set To Launch First EV In Oct 2026
Despite its commitment to combustion engines, Ferrari is actively developing its first electric vehicle to stay competitive in the EV market. We'll likely see it in late 2025 and be able to buy it in 2026.
CEO Benedetto Vigna however stated that several crucial steps remain before this first all-electric Prancing Horse becomes available for purchase.

First, according to Viagna, they'll reveal the key technology behind their first electric vehicle on October 9th, during their capital markets day. The all-electric vehicle will then make its world debut the following spring. Vigna anticipates the Ferrari EV will hit the market by October 2026, assuming everything proceeds as planned.
Given the excitement and hype surrounding the company's first EV, it is expected that the electrified supercar will be a huge global hit. Vigna told Autocar their EV prototypes have undergone rigorous testing, accumulating thousands of kilometers, often while disguised with fake exhaust tips.
Ultimately, he says, people buy a Ferrari for the thrill, not because they need it for practical reasons.

Prior to its release, the EV's production and cost will probably be kept under wraps. Vigna described the current rumours that the EV will cost $500,000 (MYR 2.53 million) as "a surprise" and declined to either confirm or deny the rumour.
