- MBSA Announces Road Closures For Shah Alam Car Free Day
Heads up for Shah Alam residents and motorists, there will be temporary road closures set for Sunday, July 13 to facilitate this month's Shah Alam Car Free Day by MBSA.

The Shah Alam city council (MBSA) took to its official Facebook page earlier today and announced a series of road closures. This is to facilitate the July edition of what is now known as the monthly Shah Alam Car Free Day initiative organised by the council.
In its announcement, MBSA also issued the visual map featured at the top of this post highlighting the road closure for all residents and motorists to refer.
This month’s Shah Alam Car Free Day will be held this Sunday, July 13, and the council will close off roads around Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam and Tasik Barat. Closed too are the two main thoroughfare connecting both areas – where SACC Mall and MBSA headquarters are housed.
The road closure is scheduled to last from 6:30AM to 9:30AM only. In turn, this will enable the event, which emulates the monthly KL Car Free Morning, to host residents indulge in either running, cycling, as well as skating or scooting – effectively the use of motorised vehicles are banned here.
With this announcement, both residents and motorists in the area are advised to take note and plan their trips accordingly.
