Smart Selangor Bus overturns In Bukit Sentosa

A mother and her young child sustained minor injuries after a Smart Selangor bus skidded and overturned along Jalan Tulip 3 in Bukit Sentosa, Hulu Selangor.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, they received a distress call at 11:16AM and a team from the Bukit Sentosa station reached the scene within 11 minutes.

Operations commander Senior Fire Officer II Shaziman Aziz said the bus was found overturned with four people onboard. The 57-year-old driver and a 17-year-old male passenger were unharmed. Bus_Selamat_Selnagor_July_14.jpg
“Meanwhile, a 38-year-old woman and her 9-year-old child received minor treatment at the scene before being taken to Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital for further care,” he says, adding that eight firefighters were involved in the operation, using one Fire Rescue Tender and one Emergency Medical Rescue Services unit. The situation was brought under control by 11:30 a.m., with authorities confirming that no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
