The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced the latest retail prices of fuels in Malaysia, effective from 30 Sept to 8 Oct 2025.

Under the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) programme, eligible Malaysians enjoy subsidised RON95 at RM1.99/litre for up to 300 litres monthly, with usage beyond that charged at the market rate of RM2.60/litre. Meanwhile, non-subsidised RON95 for non-Malaysian's is fixed at RM2.60 per litre during this period, with MOF noting that prices will continue to follow global oil market trends.

For land public transport and goods transport sectors under the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS), RON95 is priced at RM2.05 per litre.

RON97 petrol remains unchanged at RM3.21 per litre.

Diesel prices are also maintained, at RM2.93 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.

These new rates take effect from midnight 30 Sept until the next fuel price update from MOF on 8 Oct. The ministry reiterated its commitment to monitor global crude oil fluctuations and balance price stability with rakyat welfare.
