- Mercedes-AMG Releases Trio Of Stylish Swiss-Made Watches
Mercedes-AMG just dropped a trio of exquisite Swiss-made timepieces, each bearing a distinct style too.

Now here’s a heads up for Mercedes-AMG fans and owners seeking to have matching timepiece on their wrist. This week, the German marque’s famed three-lettered performance arm just dropped its exquisite Swiss-made timepieces range, all boasting a distinct style too.
The new Mercedes-AMG Timepiece Collection sees three watches available. Firstly comes a regular automatic chronograph wristwatch with a traditional metal bracelet and secondly comes a pair of distinct sporty timepieces with rubberized straps.
According to reports online, all three will be available exclusively through Mercedes-Benz dealerships worldwide. Certainly, we could expect to see these wristwatches available locally through Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s dealership network in due time too.

AMG Automatic Chronograph, Business boasts a Swiss SW500 automatic calibre movement sources fro Sellita and it rocks a titanium bracelet plus a sapphire crystal case back.

We’ll start with the aptly-named AMG Automatic Chronograph, Business. Underneath, this traditional-looking chronograph is powered by a Swiss SW500 automatic calibre source from Sellita, and said movement boasts a 48,000 vibrations per hour operation.
Closer inspection reveals a 43.5 MM case diameter, with said case also boasting water-resistance of up to 5 atmospheres. Besides a traditional-looking titanium bracelet, it also rocks a perlage finish, sapphire crystal case back, red accents, and a small AMG logo.

Next comes the AMG Watch, Essentials Chronograph. This one harnesses a Swiss Ronda 5030 quartz movement with an added stopwatch function.
Next comes the first of two sporty chronographs with the rubberised straps. First comes the AMG Watch, Essentials Chronograph, and this one uses a Swiss Ronda 5030 quartz movement underneath offering an added stopwatch function.
The case is constructed out of a combination of titanium and stainless steel, whereas its sapphire crystal dial also has water resistance of up to 5 atmospheres. The dial face also mirrors the Business version detailed prior, complete with a small AMG badge too.

The third timepiece is a much more basic offering called the AMG Watch, Essentials. Unlike the other two, this model lacks a chronograph function.

The third entry here is simply called the AMG Watch, Essentials. This is easily set apart by its black ceramic bezel and black stainless steel centre. The rest of its case constructed out of titanium, and the dial face boasts glow in the dark abilities too.
Otherwise, this timepiece boasts the same 5 atmospheres water-resistance level as the other two in the collection. Mercedes-AMG adds this piece has "a striking tapered shape reminiscent of the aerodynamic rear of the Vision AMG.”
All three new Mercedes-AMG timepieces will be exclusively available through Mercedes-Benz dealerships globally - Malaysia likely included - very soon.

Typically, prices on each will vary depending on several factors – local taxes and duties being one. A quick check online however shows prices at European dealers starting from €750 (RM3,689) for the basic AMG Watch, Essentials.
Naturally, prices go up to €795 (RM3,910) for the AMG Watch, Essentials Chronograph version. Capping things off is of course the AMG Automatic Chronograph, Business model that commands a heftier €2,500 (RM12,297).
Expect much higher prices on each should they make landfall in Malaysia anytime soon once local luxury goods taxes and duties are factored in.
