- Launched: 2025 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid – 1 CBU Variant, RM147,888
Officially launched earlier today was the 2025 Suzuki Fronx from importers and distributors Naza Eastern Motors.

After teasing it for several rounds, the 2025 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid was officially launched earlier today by importers and distributors Naza Eastern Motors (Suzuki Cars Malaysia).
Arriving as an ASEAN CBU offering that’s made in neighbouring Indonesia, just one variant of the Suzuki Fronx was allocated for Malaysia. However, despite officially named a ‘Hybrid’, this compact crossover actually packs a mild-hybrid (MHEV) heart instead.

The Fronx arrives solely in 'Hybrid' guise, which actually packs a mild-hybrid (MHEV) powertrain.

Under the hood, the Fronx for Malaysia employs Suzuki’s familiar K15C 1.5-litre naturally aspirated 4-cyl petrol mill paired with an integrated stater-generator (ISG) and a compact lithium-ion battery pack.
Altogether, this setup outputs 103 PS and 138 Nm to drive the front wheels (FWD) via a 6-speed automatic box. Critically, partial-electrification sees this Honda WR-V and Chery Tiggo Cross rival promise to yield a maximum travel range of up to 700 KM from its 37-litre tank.

In terms of footprint, the Fronx closely rivals the likes of the Perodua Ativa, Honda WR-V and Chery Tiggo Cross.
On board, the Fronx is decked out with a combination fabric and faux-leather upholstery dressed in dual-tone.

In terms of footprint, the Fronx sits 3,995 MM long with a 2,520 MM wheelbase, 1,765 MM wide, 1,550 MM tall plus ground clearance of 170 MM. For reference, the rivalling – but more affordable – Perodua Ativa sits 70 MM longer and 55 MM narrower.
Whilst here, we’ll also note the Fronx in packing a 308-litre standard boot space. Typically, this is expandable thanks to 60:40 split-folding second row seats. On board, the cabin also comes decked out in dual-tone fabric and faux leather combination upholstery.

Other key features besides a 9-inch head unit primed on board include an automatic climate control suite with rear vents plus a sizeable 308-litre boot that's expandable thanks to 60:40 split-folding rear seats.

As for tech and amenities, the bill is led by a 9-inch touchscreen head unit offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Brimmed in the centre console too is a wireless charging pad.
Other key equipment brimmed include all-LED forward and rear lighting, 16-inch alloy wheels, as well as rugged-looking side and rear skid plate trims. As for exterior paintwork, there are seven choices on offer, three of which are paired with a contrasting black roof.
Not only richly-brimmed with amenities, the 2025 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid for Malaysia also boasts a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating as it packs a slew of ADAS features to boot.

As reported prior, the Suzuki Fronx earned a 5-star ASEAN NCAP crash-test rating ahead to its Malaysian launch today. Much of which stems from the fact it is brimmed with a slew of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features on board.
Highlights of the latter include adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane-departure wanring and prevention (LDW & LDP), lane-change assist (LCA), blind-spot monitoring (BSM), rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA), as well as vehicle sway warning, amongst many.
All of which come on top of core basics comprised of six airbags lining the cabin, ABS with EBD and BA, ISOFIX child seat anchors, stability control (ESC), as well as hill-hold assist.
Priced at RM147,888, customers booking the 2025 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid before Dec 31 will b rewarded with the choice of several perks like genuine accessories package pictured.

Moving to price, the 2025 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid commands somewhat of a premium versus its segment peers – it's tagged at RM147,888 sans insurance. Both a 3-year or 100,000 KM vehicle warranty plus a 5-year or 100,000 KM hybrid battery warranty are included for said price.
Lastly, in conjunction with its local debut, customers placing bookings for the 2025 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid before Dec 31 gain either a RM4,000 rebate, 3-year free service plan or a genuine accessories package that adds a roof rack, roof basket and door visors.
