Perodua Ativa & Myvi Launched In Sri Lanka – From RM149k & RM186k Respectively!

Both the Perodua Myvi and Ativa were recently launched overseas in the tiny island nation of Sri Lanka late last week.

Now here’s an interesting development that almost missed our radar. Sometime late last week, both the Perodua Ativa compact crossover and its Myvi hatchback stablemate were officially launched overseas in Sri Lanka.
Both models bowed during the CMTA 2025 motor show held in the island nation’s capital of Colombo. They were launched by official importers Unimo Enterprises Ltd – a subsidiary of the larger United Motors Lanka PLC conglomerate.
Though Perodua has been present there for nearly three decades, this marks the first time both the DNGA-based Ativa and latest face-lifted third-gen Myvi models are being offered in the Sri Lankan market, the latter even arriving with two variants on offer.
An image collage sent to us by our contact in Sri Lanka showing the glitzy launch of both the Ativa and Myvi held in Colombo late last week by importers Unimo Enterprises Ltd.

Critically both also arrive at a pivotal time for the Sri Lankan auto industry as a five-year import ban was lifted earlier this year. What will surprise many Malaysian observers though are the eye-watering prices both models command there, which were detailed via Facebook.
Starting with the Ativa, Perodua’s best-selling DNGA-based compact crossover SUV offering arrives in the island nation solely in 1.0 AV guise, and it commands a ‘special introductory price’ of Rs. 10,850,000, which roughly equates to RM149,056.
As for the Myvi, it is offered in both 1.3 G and 1.5 H trimlines, and they are priced at Rs. 13,450,000 and Rs. 14,950,000 respectively, which equates to nearly RM185,000 and just over RM 205,000 respectively.
Promotional visuals published on Facebook by Umimo Enterprises Ltd detailing the somewhat eye-watering prices of the Myvi and Ativa in Sri Lanka.

For reference, the Ativa 1.0 AV is marketed locally in Malaysia from just RM72,600, whereas the Myvi 1.3 G (without PSDA) commands just RM46,500 whilst the 1.5 H variant commands RM54,900.
Prices aside, we’ll point out that the specifications for all three models and variants mentioned mirror their Malaysian counterparts.
Yes, due to the combination of currency exchange rates plus Sri Lanka’s stiff car import tax and duties policy, even ‘regular’ cars are exorbitantly expensive there. Nevertheless, at least a 5-year or 150,000 KM warranty is included for said princely prices there.
For Sri Lanka, it appears the Ativa is offered solely in 1.0 AV form.

As for the Myvi, Sri Lankan buyers get the choice between a 1.3 G or 1.5 H varaints. (Note: 1.5 AV pictured)

Despite so, Unimo Enterprises Ltd appears upbeat about the sales prospect for both models in the island nation. Fuelling this is the fact that Perodua saw over 17,000 units shifted in Sri Lanka with Unimo Enterprises Ltd.
The latter firm adds that in the last six to seven months since the aforementioned import ban was lifted, it managed to shift over 1,000 units of various Perodua models across Sri Lanka. Key model here consists of the latest DNGA-based Axia, Bezza and Aruz.
The firm expects to rake in more sales with the arrival of both the Ativa and Myvi models mentioned.
