- 2026 Jaecoo J5 Bookings Opened With RM110,000 Est. Price
The 2026 Jaecoo J5 was previewed once again, this time with an esitmated RM110,000 price tag announced, plus an early bird rewards package.
The 2026 Jaecoo J5 premium compact crossover SUV takes another step closer to its official launch. Earlier today, Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia officially announced bookings for it are now opened via its network of 50 dealerships nationwide.
Bookings can be placed at an estimated price of RM110,000. Besides that, the firm announced a Super Early Bird package worth RM8,888 for customers pre-booking the Jaecoo J5 ahead of its planned official launch set for next month.
Bookings are now opened at all 50 Omoda | Jaecoo brand outlets nationwide.

For the Jaecoo J5 model specifically, the Super Early Bird Package brings a complimentary first year insurance plan worth RM3,000, an Accessories Trio pack worth RM2,000 and, critically, a sizeable RM3,888 CNY “Angpow” Rebate.

Before you ask, said Accessories Trio pack brings key additions in the form of an additional subwoofer for the built-in audio suite, a wireless karaoke microphone set, as well as a multi-functional flashlight.
The 2026 Jaecoo J5 enters the burgeoning local B-segment SUVs market space, arguably as the poshest offering available in space too.

“As we head toward next month’s launch, we are focused on rewarding our supporters with tangible value,” remarked newly installed head of Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia Chris Tan during the new model’s latest preview event.
“We are working throughout the year to grow our ecosystem to 65 dealerships. The J5 and C9 PHEV are just the start of a 2026 pipeline that will continue to redefine the Malaysian automotive landscape,” Tan added further.

Key amenities brimmed include digital displays, posh faux-leather upholstery, as well as a myriad of ADAS functions that enables 'Level 2.5' semi-autonomous driving.

First previewed locally back in Aug 2025, registration of interest (ROI) then opened online in Dec 2025. As for positioning, the Jaecoo J5 is touted as a posh and ‘premium’ alternative slotted above its ‘cousin’ the Chery Tiggo Cross.
Mechanically, the Jaecoo J5 harnesses a familiar 1.5-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol mill that puts out 147 PS and 210 Nm to the front wheels via CVT automatic box. What’s unique though is the model’s adoption of a multi-link rear suspension setup.
Expect firm pricing to be announced once the 2026 Jaecoo J5 officially launches next month.

Key amenities brimmed aboard include fully digital displays, faux-leather upholstery boasting both anti-bacterial and scratch-resistance qualities, as well as a myriad of ADAS features that enables ‘Level 2.5’ semi-autonomous driving abilities.
