A Trio Of Raging Bulls Showcased Under The Spotlight, Lamborghini At Milan Design Week
Created in alliance with the Carlo Ratti Associati (CRA) design studio, Lamborghini attended Milano Design Week with a ‘Future Is Our Legacy’ exhibition in Superstudio Più, Via Tortona 27.
Said exhibition highlighted both Lamborghini’s strong ties to the world of design and the European uncaging of the Countach LPI 800-4, 50 years after the first Countach was launched.
It also housed the iconic Countach LP400 and the new Aventador Ultimae, which is the final Aventador edition and a car that screams with the naturally aspirated V12.
As for the Countach LPI 800-4, it has a limited-edition run of 112 and is a futuristic tribute to a vehicle that redefined the supercar look, with stylings that are still seen on every Lambo to date.
To emphasize the craftsmanship and technology of Lamborghini, CRA has designed the exhibition venue in the heart of an art gallery.
Encompassed in a space of 825 square meters, the exhibition’s layout unfolds with three different Raging Bulls located within separate ‘dynamic boxes’ veiled with curtains.
Then, dimmed in atmospheric lighting, a sequence of video projections, motion graphics and soundscapes are played to evoke the character and iconic silhouettes of the bulls.
Following that, the ‘dynamic boxes’ were then fully unveiled to give visitors the opportunity to appreciate the vehicles from different angles.
Interestingly, Lamborghini designers have also illustrated the marque’s design DNA throughout the event using sketching and tape drawing.
These two techniques are still used daily within the Lamborghini Centro Stile design division, even if virtual designing is used as the base for any new car.
In brief, Lamborghini’s ‘Future Is Our Legacy’ exhibition at Milan Design Week was truly a prime showcase of the Raging Bull’s excellence in automotive designing throughout the years.
