Confirmed, The Hyundai Staria Will Be Launching Soon
Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Malaysia, has announced that the company will launch the latest Hyundai's luxury 7-seater MPV (Multi-purpose Vehicle) soon.
The Hyundai Staria is the first of Hyundai's Purpose-Built Vehicles (PBV) that represents its vision for future mobility and its transformation into a Smart Mobility Solutions provider. It features Hyundai's new design language that is futuristic and iconic, that resembles a spaceship.
Powering the Staria is a 2.2-litre CRDi turbodiesel engine paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission, sending its power to the front wheels. It generates 175 hp and 431 Nm of torque.
The Hyundai Staria has already been launched in Thailand since July. It showcased an interior inspired by the lounge of a cruise ship.
Some of the equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, LED taillamps, LED daytime running lights, electrically adjusted front and second-row seats, wide-width air vents, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment display, push-button gear selector, digital instrument cluster, push-start button, ambient lightings, multifunction steering wheel, leather upholstery, dual sunroof, dual-zone air-conditioning system, window curtains, Bose 12-speakers sound system, smart sliding door with a one-touch button, wireless charging pad and many more.
As for its safety features, it comes with six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, electronic brakeforce distribution, traction control system, hill-start assists control, tyre pressure monitoring system, Hyundai Smartsense safety suite and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.
Available in one variant - the Staria Premium. There are six colours to choose from - Abyss Black, Creamy White, Shimmering Silver, Dynamic Yellow, Moonlight Cloud and Steel Graphite.
