More Offers with Mesra Loyalty Points Using PETRONAS’s Setel App
PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) has revealed a new tiering system, enabling its customers to earn up to 3X points for every litre purchased using the Setel app. The programme will be available from now to June 30 2021.
The revamped system is categorised into three different tiers namely Junior, Explorer and Hero. The tiers are dependent on the volume of fuel purchased and users who transact via the Setel app will earn bonus points of 1.5X, 2X and 3X per litre respectively.
“We continuously look for ways to redesign and simplify the customer experience. By digitalising our Mesra loyalty programme, our customers can now earn, redeem awesome rewards and easily track their points via the Setel app or app.setel.my without a physical Mesra Card. Moreover, choosing Setel can also minimise physical contact and maximise safety at the stations.” stated PDB’s Head of Retail Business, Khalil Muri.
He also continued, “In addition, we will be awarding new Setel users with 10X Mesra points during this promotion period to encourage more customers to adopt our digital solution.”
For first time users, a registration is needed for a Setel account and use the promo code ‘c-tenx’ in order to be eligible for 10X Mesra points for every RM1 spent app. This promotion is only entitled for the first 30 days upon registration, capped at 800 Mesra points.
Earning Mesra points can be done by completing tasks such as reloading the Setel Wallet, paying for items at the Mesra outlets, as well as paying fuel at PETRONAS stations or for items with Deliver2Me. The newest feature, Deliver2Me, allows customers to purchase selected items at participating Mesra locations and receive it directly from the vehicle when refuelling.
Setel is an effort by PETRONAS to offer a seamless fuel and retail experience and is available at PETRONAS stations nationwide. Launched in July 2018, Setel is now available in every state nationwide and is available at the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery.
