This Luxury Sedan Just Hit Malaysian Markets, Introducing The New BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport!
BMW Malaysia recently introduced the all new BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport to Malaysian markets. Another luxury sedan that perfectly exemplifies electrifying opulence!
“Our leading role in the world of premium luxury vehicles is not only underlined by the success we achieved last year. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, we have successfully delivered over 2,500 units of BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles, resulting in over 25 percent of growth compared to the same period last year. Our role as the market leader for premium electrified vehicles is also underscored by a delivery of over 500 units of electrified BMW and MINI vehicles, recording a triple-digit growth of over 140 percent.” said BMW Group Malaysia managing director Hans de Visser.
“With over 20,000 units of our electrified vehicles on the road since we pioneered Malaysia’s shift to electromobility in 2015, we look forward to deliver on our promise to shape the mobility of the future in Malaysia once again, in the form of the new, locally assembled BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport – BMW Malaysia’s latest interpretation of Progressive Luxury,” de Visser added.
The New BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport comes with a three-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that produces 286 hp at 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 450 Nm at 1,500 to 3,500 rpm. Not only that, it also features a lithium-ion battery with state of the art battery cell technology and revised storage capacity that allows the vehicle to produce 113 hp and a maximum torque of 265 Nm through the electric motor.
Through this, the car is able to produce a combined output of 290 hp and the maximum combined torque of 600 Nm. It is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission and has the top speed of 250 km/h. The vehicle is able to accelerate to 100 km/h within 5.1 seconds.
Known for its classiest designs, the New BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport now has a more striking front with larger air intakes that are paired with C-shaped brackets, the signature kidney grille and BMW Laser Lights with High Beam Assistant.
Featuring the M Sport Aerodynamic Package that includes the Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line, the luxury sedan defines the word sleek.
Some exterior highlights include a set of 19-inch M light alloy wheels in Double- Spoke style 647 M Bicolour with mixed tyres and run-flat tyres, along with the M Sport brake. Did we mention the Sky Lounge panorama glass roof?
As for the interior, it is finished in the ‘Fineline’ Fine Wood Trim in Black with High Gloss Metal Effect with the BMW Individual Alcantara Anthracite headliner. It comes in an Exclusive Leather Nappa upholstery in either Black or Cognac stitching. On top of that, it is equipped with a M-Sport steering wheel and electrically adjustable Comfort seats with memory function in the front.
Following that, the vehicle also comes with ambient lighting and automatic air-conditioning with 4-zone control, as well as roller sunblinds for the rear side windows, the soft-close door function, and the Comfort Access system for convenient tailgate operation.
In addition to that, navigation and infotainment features consist of the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with a fully-digital 12.3-inch Instrument Display and the BMW Navigation System Professional with 10.25-inch Control Display. Not forgetting the BMW Gesture Control and BMW Head-Up Display in the front and also the Rear-seat Entertainment Professional with two 10-inch touchscreen monitors.
Among the digital assistance features included are the Driving Assistance Professional, Parking Assistant Plus and Connected Package Professional. It is also equipped with wireless charging for mobile phones, BMW Display Key and the 16-Speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system.
The New BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport is offered in four classic shades such as Mineral White, Carbon Black Metallic, Donington grey and Bernina Grey with Amber effect.
The luxury sedan will be available for RM 591,503.05 (on the road, without insurance) at all authorised BMW dealerships nationwide starting May 8, 2021. However, due to a scheduled website maintenance, customers can only book the New BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport for RM 5,000 via the BMW Shop Online platform at shop.bmw.com.my starting from May 11, 2021.
