GAC Mitsubishi Debuted Airtrek Electric SUV At Auto Guangzhou
GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. (GMMC), Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC)’s vehicle production and sales joint venture in China, has unveiled the all-new electric SUV Airtrek at Auto Guangzhou.
The all-new Airtrek was built based on the idea of an “e-cruising SUV,” with “e” representing the three key phrases of “electric” (electric car), “expanding” (increasing life with an automotive), and “expressive” (expressing the MMC uniqueness).
It brings MMC’s signature styling identification all through, from the Dynamic Shield entrance face to the hexagon motif of the tailgate, featuring the agility and high stability that distinguishes Mitsubishi vehicles.
On the inside, the Airtrek is spacious with a horizontally-themed instrument panel that allows a driver to enjoy a broader sight view. There’s also comfortable padding launched for the elements passengers contact, and stitches are used in each element. Comes with a lengthy wheelbase and broad general, the all-new Airtrek gives enough room for the entire household to enjoy a comfortable and fun journey.
The Airtrek is geared with an enormous capacity 70-kilowatt (kWh) drive battery, attaining a most driving vary of roughly 520 kilometres (km) beneath CLTC. Installing the drive battery in the middle of the ground has achieved a superb front-rear weight distribution with a low heart of gravity. The motor, inverter, and discount drive have been built-in right into a single light-weight, compact unit, mixed with a driving system that delivers excessive output and torque inside a lightweight, high-rigidity physique. That explains why the all-new Airtrek provides the highly effective but clean journey attribute of an EV, with agile handling for a thrilling driving experience.
“We named the new electric SUV Airtrek so that many customers can enjoy adventurous, active driving with this pure EV, which achieves a maximum driving range of approximately 520 km while emitting zero CO2 in motion,” stated MMC president and chief govt officer Takao Kato. “We hope the all-new Airtrek will help expand the horizons of customers in China, where environmental initiatives are accelerating with new energy vehicles, especially EVs.”
