CAM EC35 – Drive The Change
As premiered on last January 2022, now we have a chance to take a closer look on CAM EC35, purely running on electric motor with 60kW motor (80hp) and 200Nm of torque power.
The nation's first electric van is targeted for logistic and courier company which transitioning towards clean and responsible transportation.



Based in Klang, the car marque constantly pursuing for technology transfer from abroad to gives exposure towards their attentive employees and youths especially in automotive industry.
Powered by 38.7kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery, the vehicle has WLTP range of 268km. The van comes with an onboard charger of 6.6kw and quick charging port.

“With the rapid development of the automotive industry, it causes air pollution to occur. It is time for us to change our fuel consumption from volatile gas emissions to noise and smoke free by using EV.” said Sendok group advisor, Datuk Ir. Hj. Mohamad Dalib.
According to Datuk, the company recognized CAM EV model as a ‘D Control’ light commercial vehicle and intended to bring more diverse types of electrified vehicles in the future for Malaysia market.



Standard charging SOC 20 to 80 percent takes 5 hours, while SOC 0 to 100 percent takes 8 hours. Meanwhile, quick charging SOC 20 to 80 percent takes 80 minutes, SOC 0 to 100 percent takes 2.5 hours.
The company claims acceleration can be felt instantly with less than 10 seconds from zero to 50km/h all thanks to the absence of gearbox in the powertrain system.

In terms of design, it has modern look at front bumper merged with headlamps. The vehicle rides on 14-inch wheels and a spare wheel spotted beneath the van.



Safety concerns for CAM EC35 includes reverse parking sensors, ABS, EBD, along with Driver’s airbag. The infotainment system come equipped with MP5 8-inch display touch screen with USB charging port, SIM Card Socket, Bluetooth Connection, and Radio.
